Compassionate Care, Ever Upward

A mountain path at sunset, winding ever upward

The word Excelsior means "ever upward," and that philosophy guides my approach to patient care. Mental health challenges can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life we want to live. My role is to help you identify your strengths, uncover opportunities for growth, and move steadily toward your goals—one step at a time.

I believe every treatment plan should be as unique as the person sitting in front of me. By taking the time to understand your story, values, and aspirations, we can create a personalized plan that addresses your symptoms while supporting your overall well-being.

Individualized Psychiatric Care

I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care through telehealth for adults and young adults throughout New York, tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.

Psychiatric Evaluation

60-minute initial intake

Your journey begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to gain a thorough understanding of your mental health concerns, medical history, life experiences, and personal goals. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and supports your path toward healing and growth.

Medication Management

30-minute follow-up sessions

Medication can be an important tool in improving mental health and quality of life. These appointments focus on evaluating the effectiveness of your treatment, monitoring progress, addressing side effects, and making adjustments when appropriate—with an emphasis on collaboration, education, and shared decision-making.

Supportive Psychotherapy

Often combined with medication management

Psychotherapy provides a supportive space to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences that may be impacting your well-being. I incorporate evidence-based techniques, including cognitive behavioral principles and motivational interviewing, to help you develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful goals.

Telehealth Psychiatry

All appointments conducted virtually

All appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to receive high-quality psychiatric care from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Telehealth offers flexibility, convenience, and accessibility while maintaining the same personalized, compassionate approach to care.

You don't need to have a specific diagnosis to seek support. If you're struggling with stress, a major life change, or simply don't feel like yourself, we can work together to better understand what's going on and determine the right next steps.

Ever Upward, One Step at a Time

Together, we will work to find the silver lining within life's challenges, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
